01 What kind of wages can I expect?
We pay above the collective agreement. The exact level depends on your certificates, experience, and the type of assignment. We are completely upfront about this from our very first conversation.
02 Can I choose which assignments I take?
Yes. You register your preferences for assignment types, rotations, and availability. We offer—you decide.
03 What happens if problems arise on board?
Call us. We are available 24/7 and will handle the situation together with you. You are never left to handle it alone.
04 Which certificates do I need?
It varies depending on the type of assignment. STCW is mandatory for the vast majority of positions. Role-specific trade certificates are also required where applicable. We will help you identify anything you might be missing.
05 When I go out on a job, who pays me?
Acroboat becomes your primary employer. We pay your wages, insurance, and pension.
06 What do I need to get a job with Acroboat?
At a minimum, you need a basic safety course and a valid medical certificate. Beyond that, it will depend on the specific job requirements, certificate regulations, and experience needed for the role.
07 Do you pay for time off between rotations?
The day rate includes earned time off.
08 Will I get a permanent job with Acroboat?
All of our assignments are temporary placements. Acroboat does not have permanent employees, but we do assist shipping companies with recruitment for permanent positions when needed.
09 Can I contract my services to Acroboat, or do I have to be employed on a temporary basis?
Acroboat works with several freelancers, and it is fully possible to contract your services to us.
