What is crewing?
Crewing is...
Temporary leasing of qualified personnel for a specific assignment. Acroboat is the employer and takes responsibility for salary, contract, insurance, and paperwork.
Crewing is not...
A permanent employment in your organization. This is not recruitment (where the process ends with your employment) and not management (where we take responsibility for all coordination over time).
Is crewing right for you?
Emergency coverage
Someone drops out at short notice. You need a replacement quickly, without initiating a full recruitment process.
Seasonal and project-based
Temporarily increased activity where hiring permanently does not make sense.
Try before you hire
Some use temporary crewing as a way to get to know a candidate before offering a permanent position.
